AI for CTE Professional Learning Modules
Explore practical ways to use artificial intelligence in career and technical education through this self-paced professional learning series. Designed for CTE educators, the five modules move from foundational AI concepts to classroom planning, productivity, instructional design, workflow development, and student use of AI.
Throughout the series, you will examine realistic CTE examples, consider privacy and responsible-use questions, and apply what you learn to your own teaching context. Interactive activities and downloadable resources will help you develop strategies and materials you can adapt for your classroom, program, or pathway.
You may complete the modules in order for a connected learning experience or select an individual module that meets your current needs. If you are new(er) to AI, starting with modules 1, 2, or 3 will likely be more helpful.

Planning to Request Professional Development Credit?
If you plan to request professional development credit, check with your school or district before beginning to confirm the approval process, documentation requirements, and whether this asynchronous, self-paced learning will qualify. As you work, retain your module completion records and completed activities or other evidence of learning and classroom application. Completion of the modules does not guarantee professional development credit; approval is determined by your school or district.
