The University of Louisville (UofL), College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), and the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) are collaborating to offer the Teaching and Learning Pathway Program in Kentucky high schools. Start building your future as a teacher while earning University of Louisville college credit before you graduate from high school.

Experience teaching firsthand and take the first steps toward becoming a teacher. Work alongside experienced teachers, interact with students in real classrooms, and plan engaging lessons that bring learning to life. You'll also discover how teachers support students with different learning needs, create positive classroom communities, and help every child reach their potential.

Get a head start on college. As you explore teaching, you'll also earn up to nine college credit hours at the University of Louisville at a reduced tuition rate. Those credits can give you a jump start on your degree, help you save time and money after high school, and even fulfill one of UofL's general education requirements.

UofL is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities and as a result, the course credit earned could be transferrable to other accredited colleges and universities.
