A shining star in early childhood education
Located within the Gladys and Lewis "Sonny" Bass Louisville Scholar House campus, the Early Learning Campus (ELC) offers an exceptional early childhood education experience for children of UofL faculty, staff, students and residents of Louisville Scholar House. Providing full-day care for children aged six weeks to pre-kindergarten, the ELC combines a nurturing environment with an innovative, Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum that fosters creativity, individuality and growth.

We invite prospective families to tour our campus:
In-Person Tours: Second Tuesday (10:30 a.m.) and Fourth Thursday (4:00 p.m.) each month

As part of UofL’s College of Education and Human Development, the ELC serves as a premier training site for future educators. Education majors engage in hands-on learning, research and student teaching at ELC, integrating the latest research into early childhood education.
In partnership with Louisville Scholar House, the ELC fosters a cohesive community that enhances the learning experience, setting a high standard for early childhood education across the region.

Licensure
Licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Division of Regulated Child Care and meets all required teacher pupil ratios.
