Dr. Josh Wallace and Dr. Kyle Ingle

Drs. Wallace and Ingle are partnering with Evolve502 to study and evaluate Evolve502's Student Support Coaching Pilot Program in partnership with JCTC. Through the project, quantitative and qualitative date will be collected from students, coaches, and administrators culminating in a final report which will guide future implementation of the Student Support Coaching Program. 

Award Amount: $200,000

Dr. Regina Umpstead and Dr. JoAnne Sweeny

The University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law seeks funding from AccessLex’s Diversity Pathway Intervention Grant to launch an innovative program empowering aspiring law students from first-generation and low socioeconomic backgrounds to thrive as law students, succeed as attorneys, and lead as agents of change in their communities. Combining mentorship, LSAT preparation, leadership development, and active engagement with current legal issues, the program will create a strong pathway into the legal profession.

Award Amount: $270,110

Dr. David Rouffet

Dr. David Rouffet (@UofL CEHD, Health & Sport Sciences) has been named Olympic Performance Science Specialist with USA Cycling, a 3-year fellowship applying his athlete monitoring and biomechanics research to Team USA's road to the 2028 LA Olympics.

Award Amount: $94,714

Mildred Dist Ed Award

Dr. Jeff Sun and Dr. Heather Turner

This award, established in 1987, honors distinguished scholarly contributions that advance the theory, research, and practice of distance education. This work reflects the spirit of Charles and Mildred Wedemeyer’s legacy: rigorous inquiry, thoughtful analysis of emerging practices, and a vision for improving access, quality, and innovation in the field. On behalf of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, we are delighted to recognize the impact of this research on national and international conversations about online program management and institutional decision-making.
