Online PhD and Master’s Updates

We are thrilled to announce that two of our top-rated higher education programs have undergone a name change to more accurately reflect the changing needs of higher education. Our online Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs will now be known as the online Master of Arts in Higher Education and Workforce Development! Similarly, our online PhD program will now be known as the online PhD in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development with a Specialization in Higher Education and Workforce Development!  

These name updates are meant to reflect the changes facing higher education, as well as organizational development across industries. In an increasingly competitive economy, the ability to develop working teams will become necessary to remain adaptable and agile.  

The MA in Higher Education and Workforce Development is for people in higher education seeking to advance their careers or those pursuing their first professional position within a postsecondary institution. This degree can give you the educational administration experience you need to prepare for leadership roles in a university setting. This program offers concentrations in Administration, Sport Administration and Workforce Development, designed to enhance current roles in higher education or prepare individuals for meaningful future careers. 

The PhD in ELOD-HEWD provides a comprehensive, executive-style program for senior-level administrators at higher education institutions in Kentucky and across the nation. With an emphasis on research, this program empowers leaders like you to address the most pressing challenges across postsecondary systems, blending rigorous research training, real-world knowledge application and a supportive cohort experience.
